Freudenberg Sealing Technologies (FST) has announced that it is acquiring the DMH Group. FST announced this on 22 September 2025 and described the move as an important milestone in the further development of its service segment. At the time of the announcement, FST indicated that the transaction was still subject to approval by the competition authorities.
The DMH Group is a specialist in custom sealing solutions and, according to FST, produces high-quality, customized sealing solutions made from thermoplastics and elastomers. In addition, DMH also manufactures metal components and tooling. FST reports that DMH generates annual sales in the “double-digit million range” and has around 200 employees across three locations: two in Austria and one in the United States.
What stands out about this acquisition is that DMH not only supplies products, but also production and configuration capacity. The announcement states that DMH offers various manufacturing processes and configures CNC machines that enable customers to produce high-precision seals themselves. DMH also provides a software solution that makes it possible to configure and customize sealing solutions to a high degree.
DMH later communicated that the acquisition became effective on 28 October 2025 and that DMH’s operational activities will continue “as usual” under the new group.
