Polyethylene
Polyethylene (PE) is a semi-crystalline thermoplastic material that exhibits excellent wear resistance and friction behavior, as well as good insulating properties. It is resistant to various media, such as acids, diluted alkalis, oils, and greases. Additionally, PE offers low water absorption, making it a suitable material for the process industry. The temperature range is approximately -200 °C to +80 °C.
