Polyamide
Engels:
Polyamide (PA) is a family of amides, such as PA 6, PA 66, and PA 46. It is typically a semi-crystalline thermoplastic polymer. It stands out for its high wear resistance, good damping capacity, and emergency running properties. It exhibits low creep tendency and offers good friction behavior and mechanical strength, providing high rigidity and durability. These properties can be further enhanced by adding fillers, such as glass or carbon fibers. Additionally, the material is resistant to various chemical media and is notable for its low water absorption and wide temperature range of -40 °C to +110 °C.
