The Merkel PU11 Double Wiper combines the functionality of a U-ring with a wiper lip, where the sealing edge of the wiper lip is slightly rounded. This double wiper is designed to optimize sealing performance and offers versatile benefits for various applications.
The PU11 Double Wiper is a powerful solution to enhance overall sealing. By combining a U-ring with a wiper lip, optimal sealing and protection can be achieved. The inward-facing sealing lips fulfill the role of a U-ring, while the wiper lip with a slightly rounded sealing edge effectively removes dirt and leaves an oil film on the retraction rod. These features contribute to improved overall tightness, service life, and friction behavior of the entire system.
High standards for longevity and pressure resistance are set by the Merkel Double Wiper PU11, guaranteeing peak performance even under the most severe circumstances. This wiper seal is a dependable option for situations where robustness is crucial because it is designed to endure pressures of up to 1.6 MPa. To reduce any possible dangers, it is recommended to include a pressure-relieving hole between the wiper and the seal in situations where greater pressures are expected. The PU11 Double Wiper is the best option for both ordinary and difficult situations since it not only offers improved sealing capabilities but also superior protection and longer lifespan.
