The insides of pneumatic and hydraulic cylinders are protected by wipers against the ingress of dirt during rod retraction. For example, we have also equipped double scrapers with both metal reinforcement and pressure relief. These seals also consist of one of the best materials that Freudenberg has developed: polyurethane. This is characterized by maximum wear resistance and a wide temperature range, as well as high chemical resistance.
