The WA profile is designed for the dynamic sealing of rotating machine components such as shafts, hubs and shaft assemblies. The sealing lip is pressed against the shaft surface by a garter spring and its sealing function is independent of the direction of rotation. The profile has a fully rubber-covered outer surface, which ensures a secure fit and contributes to static sealing in the housing bore. The WA does not have a separate dust lip.
This version in FKM can be used within a temperature range of -25 to +150 °C. For FKM, the maximum specified circumferential speed is 34 m/s. The material is suitable for mineral and synthetic oils and greases, engine oil, transmission oil and ATF oil. The maximum specified pressure for the WA is 0.05 MPa. These maximum values cannot necessarily be reached simultaneously.
