The WA profile is designed for the dynamic sealing of rotating machine components such as shafts, hubs and shaft assemblies. The sealing lip is pressed against the shaft surface by a garter spring and its sealing function is independent of the direction of rotation. The profile has a fully rubber-covered outer surface, which ensures a secure fit and contributes to static sealing in the housing bore. The WA does not have a separate dust lip.
This version in NBR can be used within a temperature range of -40 to +80 °C, with short-term exposure up to +100 °C. For NBR, the maximum specified circumferential speed is 10 m/s. The material is suitable for various mineral oils, greases and hydraulic fluids. The maximum specified pressure for the WA is 0.05 MPa. These maximum values cannot necessarily be reached simultaneously.
