The sealing lip provides only limited static sealing when the shaft is stationary.
The NBR version has a temperature range of -40 to +80 °C and can withstand temperatures up to +100 °C for short periods. NBR offers good chemical resistance to various mineral oils and greases and H, HL and HLP hydraulic fluids. It is also suitable for HFA and HFB fluids; for HFC fluids, the maximum temperature is approximately +50 °C. For contact with water, the maximum temperature is +60 °C. NBR has low resistance to ozone, weathering and ageing. The WAOK profile must be used without pressure and is suitable for a maximum peripheral speed of 6 m/s. The specified limits may not necessarily be reached simultaneously.
