Met deze pakkingen kunnen snellopende assen perfect worden afgedicht. Ze hebben ook uitstekende slip-eigenschappen, lage wrijving en zijn extreem slijtvast, waardoor ze perfect zijn voor hoge drukniveaus in centrifugaal- of plunjerpompen.
