Introducing ESV Chevron Seals by Merkel - a comprehensive solution for reliable piston rod sealing. These multi-component sealing sets comprise a pressure ring, a minimum of 3 seals, and a support ring. The Merkel Chevron Seal Sets are available in three different designs.
Type A includes 3 to 5 fabric roof seals and can be installed in adjustable or non-adjustable seal areas. Type B consists of 3 to 5 fabric roof seals, a rubber sprung back-up ring, and is designed for non-adjustable seal areas, ensuring constant axial preload. Type C features 2 to 4 fabric roof seals and one rubber seal, suitable for both adjustable and non-adjustable seal areas, aiming for an improved sealing effect. Type A and Type B can be supplied in open form, while Type C is always available in an endless form.
