Guide Rings (Piston) are used to guide the rod and piston in pneumatic and hydraulic cylinders. In addition, they prevent direct metallic contact with the cylinder housing. Guide rings (rod) fulfill this task. Guide rings meet the high demands of the industry. For example, they are able to absorb high shear forces even with a short guiding distance and at the same time low friction losses.
