It offers clear advantages over conventional guide bands and rings. This means that it is interchangeable with existing structural spaces of the SB and SF designs, has a high radial load-carrying capacity and excellent conductor length utilization via uniform stress distribution. Added to this is the improved absorption of lubricants via optimized stress distribution in the contact zone between the guide ring of lubricants.
