The insides of pneumatic and hydraulic cylinders are protected by wipers against the ingress of dirt during rod retraction. It is important that dirt, dust, humidity and other environmental influences cannot contaminate the operating medium. And must be kept away from pressurized sealing edges and other contact zones. For example, we have also equipped double scrapers with both metal reinforcement and pressure relief. These seals also consist of one of the best materials that Freudenberg has developed: polyurethane.
