Like hydraulic cylinders, radial seals must be able to withstand a high pressure load, except that translational movements are also added in some cases. Freudenberg seals are perfect for this. They easily handle rotational and swiveling movements at all operating temperatures. Radial seals are ideal for use in hydraulic connections. At the same time, they offer extremely high performance, even under static load.
Freudenberg offers a wide range of hinged movement seals, which are used for the optimum sealing of hydraulic rotary transmissions or hinged or rotary pistons. Radial seals are available in different versions as two-piece or three-piece seal sets. These sealing surfaces have also been specially developed for use at high pressures and low speeds. The circumferential grooves in the dynamic sealing surface allow lubricant deposits to form, reducing friction and achieving excellent fail-safe properties.
