The BAUMSL Simmerrings, manufactured according to the standard specifications of DIN 3760, provide a dependable sealing solution for demanding conditions. With an elastomeric outer casing and a spring-loaded fluororubber sealing lip, they are specifically designed to meet high thermal and chemical requirements. These seals are available with or without an additional dust lip (SL) to provide protection against light to moderate external contamination.
The BAUMSL Simmerrings find application across a range of industries, offering increased thermal stability and chemical resistance that makes them resilient in challenging environments. With a dependable seal of the housing bore, even under conditions of increased bore roughness, thermal expansion, and shared housings, they are ideal for sealing low-viscosity and gaseous media. The spring-loaded fluororubber sealing lip also offers benefits in sealing low-viscosity media and gases. An additional dust lip (BAUMSLX7) provides protection against moderate and moderately heavy dust and dirt from outside. Please note that this can lead to a slight temperature increase due to a frictional heat.
