The insides of pneumatic and hydraulic cylinders are protected by wipers against the ingress of dirt during rod retraction. It is important that dirt, dust, humidity and other environmental influences cannot contaminate the operating medium. And must be kept away from pressurized sealing edges and other contact zones. To achieve this, the scrapers must be perfectly matched to the respective operating conditions and offer maximum protection.

Primary and secondary seals require reliable protection as conductors in modern sealing systems. For example, we have also equipped double scrapers with both metal reinforcement and pressure relief. These seals also consist of one of the best materials that Freudenberg has developed: polyurethane. This is characterized by maximum wear resistance and a wide temperature range, as well as high chemical resistance
