With an elastomer outer casing and a spring-loaded fluororubber sealing lip, they are designed to meet high thermal and chemical requirements. These seals are available with or without an additional dust lip (SL) to provide protection against light to moderate external contamination.

With reliable sealing of the housing bore, even in conditions involving increased bore roughness, thermal expansion, and split housings, they are ideal for sealing low-viscosity and gaseous media. An extra dust lip (BAUMSLX7) adds protection against moderate and moderately heavy dust and dirt from the outside. Please note that this can lead to a slight temperature increase due to frictional heat.
