The BAUM Simmerrings, based on the standard specifications of DIN 3760, offer a reliable sealing solution for demanding conditions. With an elastomer outer casing and a spring-loaded fluororubber sealing lip, they are designed to meet high thermal and chemical requirements. These seals are available with or without an additional dust lip (SL) to provide protection against light to moderate external contamination.
These seals are suitable for various applications in different industries. They offer increased thermal stability and chemical resistance, making them resilient in challenging environments. With reliable sealing of the housing bore, even in conditions involving increased bore roughness, thermal expansion, and split housings, they are ideal for sealing low-viscosity and gaseous media. The spring-loaded fluororubber sealing lip also offers benefits when sealing low viscosity and gaseous media. An extra dust lip (BAUMSLX7) adds protection against moderate and moderately heavy dust and dirt from the outside. Please note that this can lead to a slight temperature increase due to frictional heat.
